We need your help!

Posted on August 05, 2019 in: General News

We need your help!
St. Pius X was recently blessed with two priests that also serve the St. Mary's Help of Christians Catholic Church here in Pueblo. Consequently, they are required to travel frequently between the two parishes. Due to the vow of poverty they have taken in their order as Servants of the Blessed Sacrament, they cannot "own" anything and only have the use of one car between them. This obviously creates a lot of difficulty in being there for Masses, confession, and for the needs of people in our parish. We have begun working to raise the money to purchase a parish ...

Progress on Project
If you didn't notice this weekend, the “hole in the ceiling”, in the back, has been covered, textured and painted, with our Baptismal Font already back in place. There is also wiring for a spot/flood light to enhance the font, when all is complete. The glass doors are scheduled to be in place by mid next week. If you’ve forgotten, we’ve made this move in order to: Provide us with a more quiet worship space (and still let us visit outside the doors). Provide a little overflow for those using the cry room. Safety. Thanks for being...

Would you be willing to donate towards The new glass partition? Sometime in May, work will begin to install a new wall in between the columns and fill in the hole above the Baptismal font. The purpose of this minor renovation is to preserve the spirit of welcome and hospitality (accommodating any "overflow" socializing from the foyer), provide plenty of space for the parents who need somewhere to tend to the needs of their ch...
